Hello to all my Readers

What a phenomenal response to our previous newsletter!  We were in awe as we received such positive responses.  Silent Sewing Academy has now become a household name.  We humbly thank our supporting students for giving such positive feedback about us.

We are currently in the second term and our second batch of classes are coming to a close.  That makes us ready to start new  lessons.  We have new Module 1 and Module 2 starting on 3 June 2017.  More classes will open from 1 July 2017.

The month of fasting is upon us and​ the atmosphere is charged with adrenaline in preparation for the month long sacrifice.  We will be closed for the Saturday afternoon classes, but the rest of the classes will carry on as normal.  It is subject to change as per our students’ requisites.

Our Revamp Upcycle Class was met with much enthusiasm.  We are now considering a cheaper option of having workshops to brainstorm ideas.  Students can give their input and help each other.  A thoughtful idea to cut costs and be upgraded at the same time.

The beauty of our Academy is that our past students remain our family.  This alone speaks a thousand words.  We thank our loyal students as we go into a new ERA of uplifting our students’ creations.  We have much to do and will definitely keep you all updated as our plans unfold.

In the meanwhile you can hold your breath and think sewing as Silent Sewing Academy swings into a level that we have never dreamed about.

A Poem to keep you motivated

She had a great idea
But didn’t have a clue.
She came to us
And said she was brand new.

Knows nothing about machines,
Knows nothing about drafting,
Knows nothing about cutting,
Knows nothing about sewing.

We put her mind to rest
As we explained it nicely
We told her with our help
She will sew beautifully

Enroll now and
Get empowered
Be a designer
And move forward.

She took the advice
And put her best foot out
She learnt sewing
And what it is all about

Step by step
We put her through
Lesson by lesson
She got the cue.

She came with uncertainty
And started the course
Slowly and confidently
She learnt the sewing laws.Module One was done
With much apprehension.
Module Two went well
And certificates added her collection.

When she came to Module Three
It was for everyone to see
The roots were firm
Soon we will see the tree.

With no surprise to us
The flowers were blooming
She swayed into class
Glowing and smiling.

The confidence showed
Uplifted and inspiring.
Motivated and enthusiastic
She was sailing!

P.S. She knows who she is! 🙂
