Indemnity and Agreement

The student acknowledges and agrees that neither Silent Sewing Academy, nor any persons associated with Silent Sewing Academy (be it its students, clients, suppliers, agents or employees), shall be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property whatsoever. The student indemnifies Silent Sewing Academy and all its related entities fully and completely.

Furthermore, the student agrees to the following:

  1. The deposit and fees are non-refundable.
  2. All fees are to be paid either (A) in cash in person or (B) via EFT. Cash and cheque deposits made at the bank will incur additional charges for which the student is liable. The amount will be added to the student’s account.
  3. All fees must be paid in full by the 7th (seventh) lesson.
  4. In the event a student leaves the course before its completion, the student is still liable for full payment of the course, at the discretion of the directors of Silent Sewing Academy.
  5. Missed lessons are covered in another time slot with another class. No special classes or one-on-one lessons will be given in this regard. A student will be given a maximum of 3 (three) opportunities in which to make up the missed lesson/s before those lessons are forfeited.
