I do hope that you have had a wonderful holiday and taken your much-needed rest. Holidays bring change to our daily routines and, even though it’s usually a busy period in other ways, the change is as good as a rest. Our normal routines have taken a back seat for a while and it may be difficult to get back to the routine, but don’t despair! Let nature take its course, and all will be well.
The Dubai Souk International once again took over a major part of our summer holidays. Sellers from all the world displayed vast varieties of ware. We have the good fortune to be a part of this massive affair. Our Fashion Bonanza was graced by Saras Ramjathan from AfriSari, a former student of Silent Sewing Academy. Fezeka, a student who completed level one, also joined her to launch their unique designs. On behalf of the Academy, I also didn’t miss the opportunity to showcase a few designs, too. All in all, it was a successful event with the Grace of the Almighty.
