| Hello my dearest readers Once again, I face a blank page with a million thoughts. I have so much to say and so much to teach, so much to do and so much to learn. I do hope you all are well and that you are eager to utilise your life meaningfully, too, by using your time wisely. Time is a beautiful gift that is endlessly precise. Every second, every minute, every hour and every week is always within its boundary of precision. Use your time wisely. A dedicated student and home executive once told me to “Work hard, work fast, and work smart”. Wow! What an eye opener. This phenomenal women uses her time usefully ensuring that everything is done exactly as planned. Keeping a calendar, a diary or even making a note on a bulletin board or on your phone will help keep you in control of your time. Planning your time, your day and schedule brings about a sense of control. It certainly does take self-discipline to gain the utmost usage of one’s own time, but it’s the kind of self-discipline we all need to succeed. Remember to always keep time to pray. Keep time to help others and keep time for yourself. You are the most important being in the picture of your life. The main character in your own novel. Never underestimate your capabilities and your wisdom. Be who YOU want to be. Be kind and take others into consideration too. Life is a beautiful picture. Play your part to keep it beautiful! Family is important too. Keep them close. Your bond with them is everlasting. On that note we were inspired to make our theme for this year’s fashion show A FAMILY AFFAIR. Tickets for our 11th show are available from us. The cost of R180 includes a full meal with drinks and afters, together with a show of fashion you have never seen before! This will be our final show as we launch into another era of showcasing our students’ designs on another platform from next year. The show will be held on 6 October which is a Saturday during the third term break. Tickets are sold individually or you may reserve a 10-seater table on the aisle for you, your friends and your family. As these tables are limited, please book yours early to avoid disappointment. Spring is around the corner and hopes are renewed as the seasons change. This is the time to revamp and up-cycle your current wardrobe. Take a good look at your attire and do what it takes to make sure your clothes make your feel happy and alive.
