Hello my dear readers
We start this new year on positive notes. The long month of January has finally come to an end and we can look forward to a fruitful year ahead.
Although the entire world has suffered with the pandemic and lockdowns, many people used this opportunity to review their lives. Our fellow South Africans are also trying to reach their goals. Everyone is trying harder. More effort is being put into re-skilling. We have been inundated with people asking for my help to start small businesses.
In this day and age, the small businesses and home industries seem to be the winners. Out of the tax bracket and with fewer overheads than large businesses, small business owners are the go-getters that our economy needs.
I do hope you are all well and starting the year with a page turned. I am sure that many have experienced some sadness along the way, or some worry or heartache. In the midst of gathering our thoughts and plans for the new year, we were saddened with the loss of my own dear sister, Naseema. May she be elevated to the highest ranks in the hereafter. Aameen.
Remember that nothing stays the same forever. The only constant in life is CHANGE. Everyday is a new beginning. We have another chance to better ourselves and move forward.
Our academic year began on 15 January, as the school-going children prepared to go back to school. New classes have opened weekly since then and applications are already open for the next round of courses.
We still take only take a maximum of six students per class and we have come a long way. My interest lies not only in teaching to the best of my ability but also in keeping the students motivated, happy, relaxed and stress-free in our spacious, air-conditioned classroom. We are always available to those that need a little extra assistance and to those that need professional help.
I do hope my simple words are enough to motivate and aspire you to help yourself and those around you. Let us all endeavour to do our BEST in this coming year. Let us share and be caring. We all need to keep motivated, and the easiest way to that is to plan your day.
I came across an article by Henry Todd, an author who says, “Do not go to your grave and carry inside you the best that you have. Always choose to die empty.” The TRUE meaning of this expression, is to die empty of all the goodness that is within you. Deliver it to the world, before you leave.
If you have an idea, perform it.
If you have knowledge, give it out.
If you have a goal, achieve it.
Love, share and distribute the goodness that you carry. Do not keep it inside. Let us begin to give. Remove and spread every atom of goodness inside of us.
On that sharing and caring note, I would like to announce an exciting event we have planned.
Our Students Exhibition and Show 2022
