The stories we create…
The stories we read are not always true. Some are inspired and others are fiction. We all have a story from birth to youth to adulthood and beyond. Some of us can relate to these stories and some of us cannot. Whatever your story, whatever your emotions, I do hope you making the most of every opportunity to make your story more enjoyable. Difficulties in life could be viewed as plot twists. Your reactions to these difficulties will contribute to the inspirational aspect of your story. Since we are in interaction with each other, be it personally or online, it means our stories are intertwined. You are a part of my story and I am a part of yours.
With all the public holidays and long weekends we are having, stories escalate. Some stories are melancholic and others are more joyful. I do hope everyone has a happy story to tell about the Days of Your Lives.
Happiness cannot be bought. The best of everything will not bring you happiness and contentment. True happiness comes from making others happy. Giving and caring and nurturing brings inner joy and peace. Teaching also gives great satisfaction. To impart your knowledge is a good deed. Whatever your skill, if you have the ability to share it, you should. Whatever the deed, if you have the good fortune to fulfill it, you should… for that will bring about the blessings we all need.
If you have a dream inside your heart, never let it go.
Because dreams are tiny seeds from which beautiful tomorrows grow.
Come on my dears. Between you and your future, you hold the steering wheel. Go on. Do the things you love to do. Plan your day. Start off by praying to the Almighty. Be aware of your fellow humans’ needs and try to do something good for someone each day.
We mentioned our sponsorship efforts in our January newsletter and, with help from good samaritans outside, we are empowering those that need it. If you would like to sponsor a student or have someone in mind that will benefit from learning a new skill, then contact us. We may be able to help.
During month of Ramadaan, we will be holding Abaya classes
Also, new intakes for June, module 1, 2 and 3 have commenced. Book now to avoid disappointment.
Our annual show, 2019
In keeping with our new outlook and recent changes, we will be forming an organizing committee to help make this year’s show better and different from our past shows. Since our shows are not fundraisers, all proceeds from the tickets contribute directly to the show.
We welcome the input of past and present students as we climb up to new adventures. Anyone who is interested is welcome to join or share your ideas to make a positive change to our show. We hope that the 2019 Show will pave the way towards greener pastures as we hope to advertise further afield.
Two lovely ladies have already offered their help and I will let them head the committee. Thank you Zakiya and Shameem. These lovely, inspiring ladies have event-planning experience and they have shared some good suggestions as well. Let us see what we can come up with. We will either win or learn from trying.
In our fast-paced techno-driven lives, where everything is exaggerated, we need to be careful of what we say and do so that we don’t give off the wrong impression. Many heartbreaks are caused through misunderstandings and many problems are caused through the impersonality of Wattsapp. Let us be more aware and make others aware of these precious moments of our lives by being aware and using better words when texting and talking. Words are weird little fellows. They can do damage if not used correctly. Let’s make a concerted effort to use the right words.
On that note I bid you all farewell until next time.
